All your children shall be taught by the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your children. - Isaiah 54:13

At Commonplace, God has blessed our church family with an abundance of young folks! We’re committed to caring for them well, keeping them safe & teaching them all about Jesus through our Nursery (through age 4) and Children’s Church (ages 5-9).

Our Nursery program provides a fun, safe & caring environment for our infants & toddlers so that parents can be at ease and fully present for Sunday services.

Through engaging lessons, games, activities & songs, our Children’s Church exists to provide the children of Commonplace with a fundamental understanding of who God is and how the Gospel impacts their lives.

All of our teachers and volunteers are background checked. Our SIGN UP form for students includes an option to include any medical notes, allergies, or other pertinent information.

The safety and spiritual growth of your little ones is of utmost importance to us!

If you’re visiting for the first time, welcome! If you’re a new parent looking to register your child for the Nursery, congratulations! We would encourage you to register ahead of time - that way when you arrive on a Sunday morning, your child is all ready to go!

We also have the option of registering at our Check-In Station prior to Sunday Service at 9:45AM. Make sure to arrive a few minutes early! At our Check-In Station, both you and your child will receive a sticker name-tag with basic information and a matching security code.

For our Nursery, children who are checked in can be brought back right away and picked up at the conclusion of Sunday Service.

For our Children’s Church, children who are checked in are invited to join us in the auditorium for some music and a Gospel presentation! During the announcements, the children will be dismissed and directed to their designated classrooms right down the hallway. The assigned volunteers will guide them and supervise them to their rooms. The children will then be welcomed back into the auditorium after the sermon to re-join their parents for worship. We prefer this process as it allows families to worship together as a whole and invites our volunteers to join us for praise & worship as well.

Over 30% of our current church body are youth or children! As you can imagine, our need for volunteers & teachers is large as well. To sign up to serve or learn more, use the button below:
