At Commonplace Church, one of the primary ways we seek to proclaim the Gospel is through serving those in need around us (Matthew 25:35-40, Galatians 5:13, Romans 12:1, 1 Samuel 12:24). As God calls on His Church to be light in the darkness (Matthew 5:16), we strive to live as Christ did in his earthly ministry by loving others. We believe that God has equipped each of us with unique gifts that enable us to model Jesus’ example of servanthood (1 Peter 4:10, Romans 12:6-8). It is our hope that as a church we are able to be a blessing through serving, giving, loving and sharing the Good News of Jesus. God’s love knows no bounds—neither should ours!
